Farsi Kids Class Graduation Party - A Memorable Celebration
We are delighted to share the wonderful success of our Farsi kids class graduation party! The event, held on Saturday, May 18th 2024, was a heartwarming celebration of our children’s achievements and progress in learning the Persian language and culture.
Nowruz 1402 and Eid ul-Fitr Celebration
In celebration of the commencement of Nowruz 1402 and the Eid al-Fitr, the Nebraska Hazara Community was delighted to host a grand and magnificent gathering for you and your beloved families on April 13, 2024. HNC is Launching Farsi Classes for Kids!

The Hazara Community is now offering Farsi classes focusing on teaching the Farsi alphabet, reading, and writing to kids. Every child is welcome to join us and dive into the joy of learning with our engaging and fun-filled sessions. Join in and let your kids explore the beauty of the language with us.

The Hazara Community came together on 12/25/2023 for an incredible New Year’s party, uniting members from Omaha and beyond. It was a joyous gathering filled with laughter, togetherness, and the vibrant spirit of our community. Thank you to every one who joined us and made this celebration a memorable one! Here is to a year filled with unity, happiness, and countless shared moments.

Nebraska Hazara Community (NHC) is a nonprofit (charitable) organization incorporated under the laws of the state of Nebraska in 2022. NHC aims to work in Nebraska to support the betterment of members of our community as they become prosperous, contributing citizens in Nebraska. NHC has been helping Afghan refugees/ asylum seekers in Omaha in their resettlement process through community volunteering. Through members volunteering, NHC has been able to support newcomers by providing services such as airport pickups and welcome parties, first night dinners for new arrivals, short term accommodation, providing vehicle for DMV test drives, providing transportation to appointments, and providing interpretation services for patients at hospitals and clinics. In addition, NHC aims is focused on keeping our community members healthy and happy. For this reason, NHC volunteers have been organizing sport activities and community events such as soccer and volleyball games on a weekly basis, “Nowruz”, Eid, and religious ceremonies on occasional basis.
NHC aspires to become one of the leading community-based non-profits in our home Omaha, NE.
